NOTES and OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

  1. First found in Sample INK002 (Black-Ink Permanent Marker) and initially it looked to be the dye Sky Blue 01 but on further investigation it differed slightly in colour and considerably in RF Values.
  2. This dye is given the nick name Light Blue FVT 1 where FVT stands for Fast Violet Trail since when it was seperated by certain solvents (eg 50%-60% Ethanol), it was always located at the tail (= trailing) of the Fast Violet 1 dye, sometimes even merging slightly into it.
  3. Was found in little amounts and consequently was not isolated. Further chemical analysis could not be carred out.

TENTATIVE IDENTIFICATION:

Not yet identified.
