Postal service complaints |
REFERENCE No.

Although the postal service was handed from the goverment to a private company, things did not improve. In my opinion and others it meant an increase in local postage service and decrease in the quality of service. If there is Maltese managment than do not expect much good service. The ideaology of the workers is always that - "take a short cut, who cares"

Dumpings at historical sites |
REFERENCE No.
F013-00 |
The excellence of ignorance is when people throw their massive dumplings near historical places. Probably, although several tens of years on the island they do not even know that the site is a historical one. However, as stupid as it may seem, there might be some element of thought afterall - they dump here because they know that the authorities will clean up such sites, so as they can throw their next load again. !!!

The Ignoramuses' maltese tosspots! |
REFERENCE No.

We just taken a quick glance at your well put together forum, and as a matter of fact we do agree with your comments 100%. The Maltese and their neighbours are not only Rude-Ignorant-Selfish bleeders-GREEDY- smile only when a tourist dangles a green note infront of their woggy mugs who incidently are taken for a ride, it makes one wonders;Hang on... Just a minute who is the ignorant party here the Maltese or is it the tourist?? thats the question!one may ask: however the poor tourist who is expecting an out of this world- a holiday bargain is buffled to what he sees; not expected to find the so called Nicey Nicey Maltese rather intringuinglty fasinated and to the contrary to what they were told at their local tourist office in their country where ever..because what they see is something beyond belief. I don't think we need to go in details cause most of the negative bits have already been jotted down in your forum..
Although we're not Maltese and thank the lord we shall never be regardless; we will not be visiting malta ever again. The greediness, their foul mouth and the vile language that comes out of it, why and why on earth did ever St.Paul shipwracked in Malta makes us all wonder becuse although as the story tells us he turned the simple poisonous adder harmless but then injected its :Venom: into the locals and still exists at this moment in time. The rest is history .. the dirtyness of the maltese not so much for their neighbours but its there for everyone to see is something beyond this world,as for My personal conclusion and to most main- land europeans, their verdict is that the inhabitants of these very very beautiful islands are not fit to be with us in europe and the worst part of it all, we got to pay our oun taxes from our own hard earned cash to clear up their foul dirty mess..as the song goes ;when will they ever learn; FULLSTOP AD 2005

Personally Robbed twice |
REFERENCE No.
F016-00 |
In this past 4 months I and my family have been robbed twice. In Dec 12th, my car was parked at the University car park while I was attending for several lectures. When I came back, I found one of the locks of the car broken and then noticed the back window smashed. When I entered the car, everything inside was missing, including a sun protection screen and towel. Went to the security and arrogantly said that it is not his duty (I still do not know what is his duty then?!). I phoned the police to tell them about the case and believed that they will come on the spot but they also refused, I had to take the car to the police station instead. No photos, no investigation on the spot, no sample to the forensic department... Once at the police station I was asked several questions so as the police officer fill a formal form. Then they claimed that my car was the 6th robbery in the car park within an hour. If they went there on the spot when the first person who reported the case, they might have grabbed the vandals, but they are too lazy, better stay cosy at the police station. Then I asked for the fingerprints but they said that they do not do them at the station and it is useless since if the thieves are caught from the fingerprints, they would not have enough money to pay the damages since they are probably drug-addicts. This is the mentality of the police - in other words promoting to become a thief. Next day I went to the police station to fetch the printed report and I was very angry to read at the end that the police suggested the owner of the car to go to the fingerprints section for samples.
Also, in early March, I and my family had a big shock when we discovered that some burglars broke open the front door of the house and stole my money and jewellery of my girlfriend and my mother (who is dead) while all of us were not at home. We reported the case to the police but nothing is solved. For them it is just another form in the piling box. This country is becoming a centre of bandits and thieves, especially now that the persons without job is increasing all the time. If anyone is planning to steal us, I'm sorry you are late now there is nothing left to take.

The pictures speaks by themselves. Taken at a zone as tal-Lunzjata limits of Dingli and Rabat. The size and type of junk that people throw in the countryside never stop to surprize me. Have a look, must see to believe. This is real Malta, dear tourists. Click thumbnail for a larger photo.
