The PicuMarZ Diary

Time to return to Malta, after a very long and nice holiday in Finland and Estonia. It was a tough day, we left from my dad's home in Bennas at 5:30am, and arrived to our house in Malta at around 11pm.

In the morning my dad drove us to the train station in Bennas, the train departed towards Helsinki at 5:40am. Miranda fell asleep almost immediately, Stephen listened to the radio and did some puzzles, while I was ready my Harry Potter-book. Four hours later we arrived to Tikkurila, which is situated just outside Helsinki. We stopped here because this train station is quite close to the airport.

We had some free time here, so we walked to the centre of Tikkurila, walked around in some shops and sat at a bench enjoying the sun. At around 11:30am we took a bus to the airport.

The plane left from Helsinki airport at 1:45pm, and we arrived to Frankfurt at 3:15pm. Miranda was screaming a bit at the plane, but not too bad.

We had to wait 4 hours at Frankfurt airport, and in the end Miranda got very tired and was screaming a lot. It did not help that we had to wait very long before we could board the plane, because there were some technical problems. When the plane left Frankfurt at 7:15pm all three of us were really tired and just looking forward to arriving to Malta.

We arrived on time, 9:45pm, and were picked up from the airport by Stephen's dad and his friend Lino. Needless to say, we went straight to bed when we arrived.
