After a very good and large breakfast at the hotel we walked towards Old Town. At first I bought a hat for Miranda, and after quite a lot of pursuing she let the hat stay on her head.
We stopped by at St Raphael's church, but it was closed, so we could not take any photos from the inside. We continued walking towards the green bridge, where we took some more photos of the view and the Soviet statues decorating the bridge.
Some more walking later we arrived to the Old Town, where we spent the rest of the day walking around. We visited many churches, for example the beautiful and miraculous Gates of Dawn, the church of St Therese and the Orthodox church of the Holy Spirit.
We happened to find an interesting market, but it was almost closing when we arrived there, so we did not have much time. At around 5pm we started walking back to the hotel, in order to take a shower and get dressed for the night.
In the evening we walked to the Old Town again, where we ended up eating dinner at Dubliners, an Irish restaurant. It was a very cosy, outdoor restaurant with good food and friendly waitors. After a large meal we finished off with a cocktail, yummie!
