The PicuMarZ Diary

We spent the whole day baking makaruti in order to sell them at our stand at the festival Jakobs Dagar which will take place in two days time. It was more work than we had expected, we kept on baking until late in the evening and did not even finish them all. We baked around 400 makaruti, Stephen specializing on the dough and I on the filling. Poor Stephen was completely exhausted and tired in the arms after all the hard work with the rolling pin. But at least we succeeded well with the recipe and we were satisfied with the result.
