We started the day by driving to the catholic church of Oulu, but unfortunately it was very plain from the outside and closed, so we continued to the nearby botanical garden. It took us a while to find the entrance, but once we found the way it was nice walking around there.
Our next stop for the day was the historical museum on Hupisaaret, and the museum was really interesting. Even the kids liked parts of it, for example the miniature of Oulu and some stuffed animals.
After the museum visit we walked around a bit more on Hupisaaret, the kids loved to feed the ducks and birds. When we arrived back to the hotel we spent a long time in the pool and sauna, and in the evening we went for a walk in the centre and had a tasty, light meal at an outdoor restaurant at the main square.
