The PicuMarZ Diary

For several reasons I have been looking for a new job for quite some time, and last December I found an ad in the newspaper that looked very interesting. When I lived in Sweden I worked in an accounting agency, and I really liked that type of job, since it is very varied and challenging. Therefore I quickly applied when I saw PricewaterhouseCoopers ad saying that they would like to employ accountants.

I went for a first interview in begin of January and during the second interview at 31 January they offered me the job, to my big surprise! I did not say yes immediately, since they seemed quite strict regarding working hours and vacation compared to my previous job, but in the end I decided that it would be foolish to turn down this good job offer.

My first working day was on 21 February, and just a few days later another new employee came to our department, Christine. All the work mates in my team are very nice, and it was also good that Christine and I started almost at the same time. It is always nice to have someone to talk to who is in the same situation as yourself.

The work is quite demanding, I did not get much introduction but was expected to manage practically on my own. That was of course tough in the beginning, however also rewarding.

Hope I will not regret my decision
