Our long summer vacation has reached its end :-( My dad drove us to the airport in Vaasa in the morning, and we arrived to Arlanda airport in Sweden at 9:30am. One of my ex work mates from Marsta, Inga, picked us up at the airport. We passed by at a supermarket to buy some softdrinks, and then we continued to Inga's house. There we met her husband Robin, and Stephen spoke to him while I helped Inga to prepare lunch. Four other ex work mates were namely joining us later for lunch in Inga's garden.

At around noon the other guests came: Kajsa, Andrea, Emelie and Niclas. It was very nice to see my ex work mates again, it is several years since I saw them last time. We had a very nice time together, eating Inga's delicious food (especially her famous home-made vanilla ice-cream), and just talking.

Unfortunately the others had to get back to work, so they could not stay very long. Even Inga had to visit a client for a short while, so in the meantime Stephen, I and Robin went for a walk around Marsta. It is incredible how much has changed since I lived here, although it is just about three years ago.

It was very hot, so when we arrived back to Inga's house we sat down in the living-room for a rest (Stephen and Robin actually both took a short nap on the sofas while I was talking with Inga).

At around 5pm Inga and Robin drove us back to the airport, where we watched the World Cup game between Germany and Argentina on a large screen. It was a very exciting game, which Germany won after a penalty shoot-out.

Our plane left at 9:30pm, and we arrived home to Malta around 2am, feeling very tired and hot.
