As soon as we arrived in Bennas, we saw the recorded match between England and Brazil, which my favourite team won 2-1. I was Euphoric with this important victory. Then we went to meet Malin's parents at a non-distant place where they celebrated a special day called MidSummer Eve. 21st June is Midsummer Day and is the longest day. Here the sun just sets for few hours and then rises again. Actually it never gets dark or night and the sun set takes hours. This day is special for Finns and they celebrate. Malin's parents were invited by some friends in a summer cottage. The cottage was situated in a very peaceful and full of nature place near a calm lake and full of trees and grass. Today it was the eve of MidSummer day. Malin's parents celebrated this day (20th June) with friends of her mother's who used to work with her long time ago. They had a small cottage by the sea (which they refer to as the Summer cottage) and stayed in the peaceful surrounding eating delicious food (the fish was great folks!) and good candies and tea. This is the longest day and the sun sets just for few mins. Practically, it is light all the day!

Another picture of this place during the sun is slowly setting. For a Maltese like me, the time seems to be seven or eight o'clock, but the time there was actually few minutes to Midnight!

BENNAS (Finland) 25-Bennas_FoxPuppies

Now we are in a different place. We are at her father's work place. He is a fox breeder and these are cute little fox puppies. I never saw foxes and they are smart, keen animals. There fur and tail makes them look beautiful.
