Malin's complete family during noon dinner. It was 23rd or 24th Dec. The persons here are Malin, Jonatan (her brother's son), Gungerd (her Mother), Johan (her father), Elisabet (her brother's wife) and Niclas (her brother). Also present was her grandfather not visible in the photo.

Here is a typical tea-time lunch with plenty of cakes, biscuits, peppercakes, candies, and good tea or coffee. This was during her family visited relatives Olaf and Gunlis on the right hand side of the photo. The old person beside Malin is Manfrid, her grandfather.

Her parents in the living room, on New Years Eve. They are extremely kind persons and have very good sense of humour. I could communicate with them in English, or little of the Swedish I learnt, or otherwise Malin translates. Gungerd English is good, while Johan is improving !!!

This was one of the few sunny days in Bennas, and we went for a walk near the Train Station. It was very cold, about minus 25 C.

Five year old Jonatan, playing 'indoor football' with Malin. He is so energetic, smart, and fond of football. He conversates with the members of the family regularly, and often, he says quite funny things which makes us all laugh. Not like many children in Malta of his age which are quite and don't speak much.

This is one of my and Malin's favourite picture. It was taken from Gunlis and Olaf house. The subject of the photo was intended to be the flowers and indoor decorations, but her grandfather partially hidden after the flowers with a charming childy look, has become the subject of the photo!

This is Malin and parents' new summer cottage. They had one in Nabba, which they sold and bought this new one in Larsmo. We had to walk for about a kilometer in the forests in a half a meter of snow - it was quite fun and adventurous - I liked it very much. In front of the cottage there is a large lake which was frozen of course. It was very beautiful. A car was seen driving on the lake - proving how solid and strong is the layer of ice over the water metres below. (only the surface of lakes freezes)

This is a photo of Malin and her best friends, taken in August during the wedding of another of their friends - Johanna. On the right of Malin is Katarina, who is Malin's best friend i think, while below is Pamela, another good friend of Malin. Johanna is Katarina's non identical twin sister. The other girl was actually not a close friend.
