Photos MARSALFORN - GOZO I and Malin in Malta - 15 Feb 2003 For valentine's (Friday 14th) we decided to go for the weekend in Gozo. Unfortunately it was one of the worse weekend regarding weather, and I had a light cold too. This was probably one of the few moment were the weather permitted a little. We decided to climb a very high hill, were there is a large statue of Jesus Christ at the top. This hill was very near to our flat in Marsalforn. It took a while to reach the top but then we were rewarded by the really wonderful 360 degrees panoramic view. I think Jesus wanted to stay alone praying becasue it started to rain and we had to go back. We walked for 30 mins in light rain back to our residence! LAFERLA CROSS - SIGGIEWI I and Malin in Malta - 08 Feb 2003 A similar hill to that in Gozo in the photos above, but this one is situated in Siggiewi, Malta. Similarly there is a religious structure at the top, and here there is a very large cross called Laferla Cross, whcih can be seen by many places from Malta if one has a good sight. As you can see from the photo, one can see most of Malta, even the sea at the other end of the island. Really wonderful site here. I was teaching a wild monkey in the park how to climb up there :-D PARK at BUSKETT with FOXY I and Malin in Malta - Feb 2003 This was a very peaceful walk with Malin and our dog - Foxy around Buskett. Such a long and far away walk for Foxy means to him that he went for a trip to another planet. He just jumped, and ran and adventured himself all the way - if he had to choose, he always took the difficult path!!! QARRABA CLIFFS 2 I and Malin in Malta - Feb 2003 This is taken at Qarraba point near Golden Bay / GhajnTuffieha Bay.
