While driving away from Saaremaa we met this Medieval church at Puha. Historical records of this church date back to 1449 and believed to be built a hundred years before. It is a Lutheran church dedicated to Saint Jacob.

Just before leaving the Saaremaa islands, we went to visit the last attraction, the remaining of a castle in Maasilinn harbour . This was a fantastic view from where the destroyed castle is located. The place is called Orissaare

There was no need to take a photo of the castle because it is just a heap of ruins, but at least, the vaults inside are in good shape as it has been restorated recently. They are lighted up by electricity and also there was cool air in a day that the temperature rose more than 30C

While leaving the ruins, this bluish, rather small dragonfly caught my attention. It was so beautiful that I wanted at all cost to take a good photo of it while standing still on the twigs. It took some 10mins running around to catch a good photo because passing tourists scared it away all the time. Against all odds I manage to come very near and take this beautiful photo.

These are a set of 4 photos during out short stay in Parnu while driving from Tallinn to Riga. Parnu is one of the largest cities in Estonia after Tallinn. This photo shows one of the largest buildings in the old town of Parnu.
