Photos TAMPERE09-30 : A week in Tampere visiting several attractions and sites (30 July - 7 Aug 2009) One of the main attractions in Tampere is the Sarkanniemi Amusment Park (aka lunapark here in Malta). While the children were still asleep we went up to an observation tower called Näsinneula tower which is 120m high and topped by a revolving restaurant. The elevator takes less than half a minute to reach the top !!! The views over Tampere were gorgeous. Tampere is a city in southern Finland located between two large lakes, Näsijärvi and Pyhäjärvi which can be seen in this photo.
