This was un doubtfully the best meals that I and Malin had during this holiday. It is a fine, high-class restaurant beside the harbour of Jakobstad where one can enjoy the wonderful and colourful sunset (unless it is too much cloudy). This photo was taken on the 16th of August, Malin's birthday. The food was excellent, especially the large desserts. The prices are reasonable to such a high class restaurant, but the wIne was very very expensive :-(

I and Malin went to eat at a high class restaurant at Jakobstad harbour but to our disappointment, all tables beside the windows where taken, so instead we decided to go on another day later on. As described above then we went during Malin's birthday. The view from the window is over the harbour showing the slow and colourful around 9pm. This is taken just after sunset with the sky in pastel colours of magenta, pink and lilac. So it was a good idea to go and eat another time to enjoy this view.

Another photo of the sunset taken few minutes after sunset. The darker and contrasting colours of the sky are incredible. No colour enhancements applied to this photo, it is just the natural picture.

Magnificent sunset at Jakobstad harbour. The colours of the sky and light clouds is wonderful. The colours are natural with no software enhancements. I was eating at Pavis Restaurant and could not resist to go out to shoot this wonderful photo.

Here is a quick photo during our siesta at the afternoon which consisted of a pack of large crips dipped in a jar of Pringles sauce. A cheap, quick and tasty alternative to going in a restaurant! It is also the first photo taken with the just bought mini tripod (Gitzo Ballpod 2) from Kokkola. It is practical and efficient to take good photos that I want to be present in, instead of carrying a bulky tripod.

Now, here we are in the large town of Vasa, about 100 km from Bennas, or about 1 hour of drive in the straight, 'non-bumpy or pitted', well build highway roads between the two areas. This photo is the large central square with some market stands. Not much spectacular but it is surrounded by many important and good quality shops, coffee shops and some restaurants.

This is a photo taken inside a small church or chapel found in Vasa that Malin wished to visit. It is a small chapel but well kept also pretty decorated compared to the norm of Orthodox churches in Finland. On entering we found a man who was cleaning the church and kindly let us to visit it and take photos.
