A photo of myself at the golden/reddish coloured sandy beach of Ramla Bay. In fact, the name of the bay in full is "Ir-ramla l-Hamra" which means the reddish sandy bay. This is probably mine and Malin's favourite bay of the whole Maltese islands. It is large, beautiful sand, green/blue water, not very populated with people, pizzerias and take-away just beside the beach, parking no problem, waves by the Northern winds makes it more fun. The only disadvantage is that there is a zone of stones and rocks in the sea which are not much pleasure for your feet to walk on. However further away, the rocks disappear and it is just sand.

This is also a very beautiful place at the north of Gozo called Wied il-Ghasri. It is a large gorge between two high cliffs, with sea water in between. This is actually a valley (as the Maltese name 'Wied' means valley) where it ends up in the open sea. One can go down here to swim by means of long fleet of steps, but on this occasion we did not went.
